Restaurants in Cape Town

So, as I’ve said before, I’m just a regular person living in Cape Town who loves food. That means we spend a significant amount of our monthly budget on eating out. In fact, even though I love shopping just like the next girl, I’d rather skimp on shoes than forfeit the next gastronomical adventure – are you getting my drift?

Anyway, this section is dedicated to all of Cape Town’s culinary institutions that have inspired me in some way or another. Ones that have served up dishes where I’ve really have to work hard at restraining myself from reaching for my note book to jot some ideas down when I should be doing my utmost to make witty and stimulating contributions to the dinner conversation. Pah.

So, without further ado, and in no particular order, here are what I consider to be some of the more memorable eating establishments in The Mother City.
