Recipes

Perhaps I’ll start with a proviso… I love food. But that doesn’t mean that I always know what I’m doing in the kitchen. Ok? So please don’t hold me accountable for any of your kitchen calamities. Just like I now hold the chef who published the ‘idiot proof chocolate cake’ recipe responsible, because I am still filled with shame at having botched it. Totally and utterly.

So I prefer to move forward unceremoniously with the only guarantee being that I love yummy food and will do my best to share some of my foodie fascinations with you. Oh and I should also add, as my wise brother-in-law once said, that there are no original thoughts – in other words, it’s not always that I can take sole credit for my recipes, and so I thank in advance and in perpetuity all the people who have influenced them and fed me over the years.

And so usually you’ll get old family favourites and a lot of no mess no fuss pretentious-less comfort food. Bon Appetit friends.

I think you can buy in the UK via Kalahari.com or Loot.co.za but then the delivery costs are quite high, so bet is to buy via Loot.co.za as they’re having a sale at the moment, and then get it delivered somewhere in SA and hopefully get someone to bring it over to you? xxx
