Once, ‘bitten.’ – Twice, on the Telly?

Well friends, it seems that the whispers have now built up into a din and that a TV show could soon, maybe definitely, be the case. The story goes something like this… (with a  precursor of months of if’s and buts and big fat maybes)

There was once a blog (yes that’s this), and then a book called ‘bitten.’ which, by the way, is now available on Amazon in the good old US of A AND the UK. Super duper hey? And, then, there was a TV pilot. A teeny tiny little TV pilot, with a not so teeny tiny pregnant me, that we filmed in Cape Town in February last year (2011). And then, a production company, or two, who rather fancied said TV pilot. And then, lo and behold, some folks at a distribution company over in the UK who thought this was all just dandy and so now, we’re helter skelter head over heels on our way to making a fully-fledged TV show. Kind of amazing hey?

To add to all the amazingness, we have some of South Africa’s most talented Chefs lined up to join us, a wine connoisseur or two, and a few epic destinations. What could possibly be more fun?

And so? Well, we need your help.

You see, we are THIS close to having all the cash we need to get cracking. We have super duper product sponsors on board. Truly. And we have most of the doe. But it needs to rise a little (you see what I did there?). And we thought, well, since this is a story about a blog that became a book, and because blogs are such a community affair, why not take this to you, the people, and see if we can make the last step a team effort? And this isn’t just all take, you see we’ve got some mighty nice reciprocations for you.
